Construction of 70 single-family homes each with three floors of living space and a rooftop deck are in the works for the gated development Golf Hill Villas.

The Villas will be located on Jimmy Johnson Boulevard and feature views of the Babe Zaharias Golf Course and close proximity to restaurants and shopping areas.

Bri Venizelos, vice president of operations for The Franklin Team, said all is going well with the project.

The goal is to have vertical construction begin at the end of September or early October and the first home ready by February or March 2025.

The Franklin Team is a regional real estate team based in Houston that will market and sell the homes.

The developer is Richard Gilbert and his company RG Homes.

The homes are to be modeled after what one might see in the Houston Heights area.

There are three floor plans available, two of which have been announced. One will be 1772 square foot in size and the second will be 1782 square foot in size.

The third floor plan, not yet released, will be the largest of the plans and be officially announced in the coming months, Venizelos said.

There are several incentives for homebuyers at this time, she said.
