NEDERLAND — Nederland police are investigating an alleged incident involving a teacher at Nederland High School.

Assistant Police Chief Andy Arnold said officials at Nederland Independent School District notified them of the incident Tuesday.

“Right now we are in the preliminary investigation,” Arnold said.

Rumors that an arrest was made in the case are false, he said.

Superintendent Dr. Stuart Kieschnick said there is an ongoing investigation regarding a personnel issue but did not elaborate on the cause.
