The Southeast Texas Educational Development Foundation approved a vote to award more than $9,000 to nine students from Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology and Lamar State College Port Arthur at Thursday’s board meeting.
The funds are distributed through an application process and help recipients to complete their college degree.
