Saturday, Sep 28 update: Latest on Tropical Storm Joyce from the NHC

According to the National Hurricane Center’s 4 am Saturday advisory, Tropical Storm Joyce is 1165 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 50 mph. It’s moving 10 mph to the northwest.

“A slow turn toward the northwest and north is forecast Sunday night and Monday.” according to analysts. “Little change in strength is expected today.” They also said “Weakening is forecast to begin tonight or on Sunday, and Joyce could degenerate into a remnant low by early Tuesday.”
