Port Arthur suspect allegedly tied to Houston capital murder

A Port Arthur man arrested on warrants last week is also a person of interest in a capital murder case out of Houston.
Ahmad Gordon, 39, has reportedly been on the run for more than five years, according to a news release from the Port Arthur Police Department.
A detective with PAPD and the U.S, Marshals Service arrested Gordon at Pebble Creek Apartments Feb. 5 on a Texas parole warrant and an aggravated robbery warrant out of Los Angeles, California. He is also a person of interest in a capital murder case out of Houston.
No information is available regarding the Houston crime since Gordon was not officially charged, according to information from Houston Police Department Media.
