Cause of multiple bus crash under investigation

Port Arthur are continuing their investigation into a crash between two Hotard buses that sent more than 70 people to local hospitals Wednesday.
Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said they are looking to verify exactly what happened as well as what role a dump truck may have played in the crash.
The crash occurred at about 4:20 p.m Wednesday on Texas 73 east near the Bob Bowers Civic Center. Duriso said it appears one bus hit a second bus and a third bus, trying to avoid the crash, veered off the road.
Hotard is a charter bus company that locally offers shuttle service for workers in the industrial field.
Traffic was diverted to alternate routes until the scene was cleared.
