BROWN, JESSE MACK, JR., 69, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on July 1, 2015, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas with his Nephew John Landrum by his side. He was born on May 24, 1946 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jesse M. (“Sailor”) Brown, Sr. and Madeline Mary Brown.
Jesse lived most of his life in Port Arthur, Texas. He loved to travel with his parents and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending summers at the beach house in Gilchrist, TX with family. Jesse had been living in El Dorado, Kansas while being cared for by his Nephew, John C. Landrum, wife Stephanie and his great niece and nephews, Matthew, Michael and Alex Landrum.
Jesse is survived by one brother-in-law Lane A. Duhe, Sr. of Port Neches, Niece Lydia Walker (Choya), of Hampshire, Nephew Lane Duhe, Jr. (Suzanne) of Port Neches, Niece, Lori Rutherford (Dale) of Fannett and Niece, Carol Craig (Bobby) of Sheridan, Wyoming, Nephew, John C. Landrum (Stephanie) of El Dorado, Kansas. He also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his mother Madeline, father Jess, Sister Lois A. Duhe, Sister Barbara J. Landrum, Niece Leslie A. Lorenz and Great Nephew Joshua A. Lorenz.
Cremation has taken place and internment will occur at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
