PORT NECHES — Port Neches Police Department officers are searching for a man suspected of shooting another man with a shotgun Friday.

Police Chief Cheri Griffith said a call came in at approximately 4 p.m. Friday at The Palms Apartments in the 800 block of Ridgewood Drive.

Griffith said there was an argument between two individuals and one man shot the other man in the leg with a shotgun.

When police arrived on scene the alleged shooter was no longer there.

Port Neches Fire and Acadian Ambulance treated and brought a person to a local hospital. The man is listed in stable condition.
