Simply Refined Boutique finds home in Port Neches

PORT NECHES — What started out as an online boutique in 2020 is now a bright and cheery storefront along historical Port Neches Avenue.
Amber Wright launched Simply Refined Boutique from home, then COVID happened and things were placed on the back burner, she said.
But the idea did not die. Collaborations were made and Simply Refined moved into the spot once held by Wren Boutique, 1224 Port Neches Avenue in Port Neches.
A Lumberton resident, Wright saw the appeal of the downtown Port Neches location.
“This is a wonderful strip right here,” she said. “That was what was so appealing, and everyone here has been so supportive.”
The boutique features clothing for a wide range of ages of women, accessories, body products, candles, some shoes and home décor.
Simply Refined is not a consignment shop — all items are new, and inside are items from other vendors; Coccinella, Bellhop and Brina’s.
The shop has taken part in several community events such as the Art Walk, and Wright plans to take part in more in the future.
Simply Refined officially opened its doors Oct. 1 with a ribbon cutting cohosted by the Port Neches Chamber of Commerce.
