The search continues for the two people involved in separate Easter Sunday shootings in the city, according to the Port Arthur Police Department.

The first shooting occurred following a disturbance at a home in the 1000 block of 4th Street.

A woman sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital, Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said.

Police know the identity of the alleged shooter, who is described as a male in his 20s.

No arrest had been made as of Tuesday morning.

An afternoon gathering Sunday at Avery Trace Apartments in the 4000 block of FM 365 ended with a fight that led to a shooting at approximately 5 p.m.

Duriso said during the fight a person displayed a weapon and started firing rounds.

Another person was injured by gunfire and received non-life threatening injuries. The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

The alleged shooter fled the scene.

Duriso said police know the identity of the shooter and described the person as a male in his early 20s.

No arrest had been made as of Tuesday morning.
