Port Arthur Little Theatre is presenting “K-O-L-D Radio, Whitefish Bay.”
The production is directed by Richard Lené, written by Phil Olson and produced by Eldridge Production,
Show sates are April 5-7, 12-14 with 7:30 p.m. show times for Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. show times on Sundays.
KOLD Radio is in a corner of Carl and Lena’s Place in a small Minnesota town near the Canadian border.
Lars is the host of a radio show called “Crappie Talk,” devoted entirely to ice fishing.
Because it is a somewhat narrow subject, Lars has no listeners, so he loses his only advertiser and is fired.
Martha Bjorklund, Lars’ unrequited love interest, hosts “Book Beat.” She has all the listeners and advertisers.
Lars must find a way to get back his dignity, his job and, most of all, Martha.
Tickets are available at palt.org.
