Gordon Sidney Hollier

Gordon Sidney Hollier, 71, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont.
He was born on October 9, 1943 to Florence Mendoza Hollier and Sidney Hollier in Port Arthur, Texas. Gordon was a graduate of Port Neches- Groves High School. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Gordon began his lifelong career of working in the family business at an early age, he has been the co-owner of the business, Hollier Construction Company since 1997. He was affiliated with St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Groves.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two daughters, April Hollier Cutchins and her husband, Todd, of Bridge City, Bonnie Hollier and her companion, Benny Epperson of Bridge City, his two sons, Dean Hollier and his wife, Jodi of Groves, Steve Jordon of Vidor, his six grandchildren, Alexis Hollier, Lincoln Breaux, Daisy, Judd and Charlie Cutchins, Meagan Whitaker and his great grandson, Ridge Wright. He is also survived by his brothers, Kyle Hollier of Groves, Gary Hollier and his wife, Janice of Kountze.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, October 9, 2015 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
