Dorothy Mae Lucas, 80, of Port Arthur, TX, passed away October 5, 2015.  A native of Abbeville, LA she was a resident of Port Arthur for 70 years.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Alfred Pero and Nola Gilbert; two sons Michael and Jackie Ray Lucas.
She leaves to cherish four children Vanessa Fentroy and Patricia Nico of Port Arthur, TX, Samuel Lucas of Arlington, TX and Angelia Jerry of Sulfur Spring, TX; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sons-in-law, Robert Nico and John James of Port Arthur, TX; 1 godchild, Jerome Green of Houston, TX; 2 very special daughters Willie Mae Griffin of Beaumont, TX and Vicki Alexander of Houston, TX; her special loved ones Ashley Barideaux, Latasha Lucas and Christopher Mitchell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Bishop James Reed will officiate.  Arrangements under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
