Ray Anthony Bergeron, Sr., of Houston, TX, passed away October 5, 2015 at his residence.  He was born December 21, 1926, in Port Arthur, TX to the late, Lawrence Bergeron, Sr. and Mabel Concienne Bergeron.
Ray served in the Merchant Marines and was the owner/operator of R. A. Bergeron Inspectors, Inc.
Ray is survived by daughters, Cheryl Light of Groves; Belinda Davis and husband Ron of Lumberton; son Jeff Bergeron and wife, Prissy of Port Arthur; Son, Barry Bergeron and Kristi Daniel of Houston; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son, Ray Bergeron, Jr.; brothers, Lawrence Bergeron, Jr., Lionel Bergeron and Loveless Bergeron; sister, Evelyn Fulda.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
