Groves police calls, arrests for week of June 26 to July 2

Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from June 26 to July 2:
June 26
- Derek Jenkins, 43, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia; wrong, fictitious, altered or obscured license plate; failed to display operator/driver license and failed to maintain financial responsibility in the 2600 block of East Parkway.
- A theft was reported in the 5100 block of Grant.
- An assault and abandon/endanger child without intent to return was reported in the 6400 block of 32nd Street.
June 27
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 2800 block of Pearl.
- Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 6800 block of Whitby.
- An assault was reported in the 2700 block of 1st Avenue.
June 28
- A theft was reported in the 4600 block of Lincoln.
- An information report was filed at the 6800 block of 39th Street.
June 29
- Glen Duncan III, 43, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest/detention in the 3000 block of Eugenia.
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 6400 block of Washington.
- An assault was reported in the 2800 block of Oak Avenue.
June 30
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 4600 block of Inwood.
- A terroristic threat was reported in the 6400 block of Washington.
July 1
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- An information report was filed at the 4300 block of Harrison.
July 2
- Bitia Flores Espinoza, 21, was arrested for assault in the 4400 block of Karen.
- An information (assault) report was filed at the 3200 block of Taft.
