Woman arrested on warrants for April stabbing

A Port Arthur woman was arrested this week on warrants in connection with an April stabbing.
Port Arthur police arrested Carlena Solomon, 19, Sunday night. Bond is set at $25,000 for a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and $4,000 for a charge of assault causes bodily injury.
Police were called April 15 to Prince Hall Apartments, 1008 W. 14th St. in reference to a stabbing. Officers met with the alleged victim who had stab wounds to his left shoulder, chest and right leg.
He told police several people were outside his apartment causing a disturbance. He confronted them about the noise and a female approached in an “aggressive manner and stabbed him with a kitchen knife several times,” according to the probable cause affidavit provided by Magistrate Marc DeRouen.
The female fled the scene.
The man was able to identify the alleged attacker through searching social media.
