According to the National Hurricane Center’s 4 am Tuesday advisory, the Category 1 hurricane Leslie has weakened into a tropical storm. Tropical Storm Leslie is 1335 miles west-northwest of the Southernmost Cabo Verde Islands, with maximum sustained wind of 70 mph. It’s moving 13 mph to the northwest.

, with sustained winds of 70 miles per hour, Leslie has downgraded from a Category 1 hurricane to a tropical storm.
