Anna Maria Castillo, 65, of Groves passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015. Anna was born November 26, 1949 in Alice, Texas to Simon and Maria Tanguma. Anna graduated from William Adams High School in 1968. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Anna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had an outgoing personality and full of life. Anna enjoyed going to the casino and watching Korean drama with her daughter.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jose Castillo; daughters, Laura Castillo, Anna Lisa Castillo; son, Joe Michael Castillo and wife Becky; sister, Theresa Villarreal and husband Juan; nephew, Juan Simon Villarreal and wife Martina. Anna also leaves behind grandchildren, Vidal Castillo, Marcus Castillo, Isabella Castillo, Mia Martin, Alejandra Castillo, Zoe Castillo and Jeremiah Castillo to cherish her memories.
A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 6:00 p.m., with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rite of Committal at, Greenlawn Memorial Park.
