Roddon Thomas Green, Sr.

Roddon Thomas Green Sr., 64 of Port Arthur, TX passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Roddon was born on May 17, 1951 to the late Alma Youman Roy and Earl Green Jr. in Lafayette, LA. He was a native of New Iberia, LA until his family moved to Port Arthur, TX in 1961. Roddon graduated in 1969 from Abraham Lincoln High School and Lamar University in 1973 with an Architectural Degree. He was owner and operator of Green Construction.
Roddon leaves to cherish his memories a son, Roddon Thomas Green Jr. (Chantelle) of Omaha, NE, and a daughter Roddonna Green of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Jalen and Mya Green of Omaha, NE; three sisters Brenda Luckett (Will Jr.) of Houston, TX, Charlotte Allison (Leon) of Port Arthur, TX and Audrey Roy of Orange, TX; two brothers Alonzo Green, of Port Arthur, TX and Earl Green III (Lorena) of Lewisville, TX; two Aunts Ella Youman and Helen Brown both of New Iberia, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday December 5, 2015 at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church with a viewing from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
