Dewey Gene Foote, 85, of Lake Sam Rayburn, died Friday, December 11, 2015, in his home. He was born on February 6, 1930, in LeCompte, Louisiana, to Ruby Mae Hill Foote and Dewey Foote.
Dewey is survived by his daughter, Patty Wilkerson and her husband, Cody; stepsons, Kim Northen; Kurt Northen; and Keith Northen; grandchildren, Josh O’Rourke, Katie O’Rourke, and Cameron Wilkerson; sister, Betty McNutt; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dorothy Tate; brother-in-laws, Jimmy Thibodaux and Walter McNutt.
A gathering of Mr. Foote’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a remembrance at 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
