Two Port Arthur natives were recently recognized by the Houston Fire Department at a promotion ceremony. They are Senior Communications Capt. Walter Pickney, left, Thomas Jefferson 1992 graduate; and Communications Capt. Paula Keyes, 1986 Thomas Jefferson graduate.
