Annie Ruth Jenkins, 66 of Port Arthur, Texas departed this life for a better place Saturday, January 2, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of this area.
She leaves to cherish her memories two sons William John Jenkins, Jr. and Robert Shawn Jenkins. Sr. both of Houston, Texas, and older brother George Edward Johnson Jr. (Thomasine) of Missouri City, Texas, a younger brother Raymond Charles Johnson
(Wilma) who was her overseer of care and protector of Port Arthur, Texas, two younger sisters Vivian Darlene Jones and Jacqueline Jenice Jones (Dwight) both of Port Arthur, Texas. Four grandchildren, Robert Shawn Jenkins Jr.  Xavier Jenkins, Camryn Jenkins, all of Houston, Texas, and Jaida Jenkins of Oklahoma City, three aunts Lillian Batiste of Lecompte, Louisiana, Blanche Dorsey and Jessie Dorsey both of Port Arthur, Texas, 1 uncle, John Hawkins of Houston, Texas, godchild, Gwendolyn Zeno of Cheneyville, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Care Providers: Dora Webb, Nellie Morise, Tracy Kemper, Liz Audler, Daphne Coleman, June Moore, Eyvette Pree, Sharonda Cole, Sharon Bryant and a host of other providers over the years.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, 227 Hwy 365, Port Arthur, Texas, Pastor Delton Narcise Officiating. Visitation beginning at 9.a.m. Burial following at Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
