Mrs. Mary Ruth Robertson, 77, of Port Arthur died, January 5, 2016, in Beaumont.  A native of Sunset, LA., she was a resident of Port Arthur and a PAISD retiree with 35 years of service.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
A visitation is scheduled from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., with  a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16th at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Father David Edwards officiating.
Survivors include her husband of 59 yrs., Charles Ray Robertson of Port Arthur, children, Charles Dale of Arlington, Julie Alpough (Vincent) of Port Arthur, Charlotte Elaine of Houston, Edward Ray (Monique) of Pflugerville.  Brothers-In-law, Jimmie Guilbeau of Grand Coteau, LA, Jessie Robertson (Dorothy) of Houston, James Robertson (Verdia) of Port Arthur;  seven grandchildren and five great – grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; two devoted friends Dorothy Frazier and Bessie Johnson both of Port Arthur.
Preceded in death by her parents Clementine and Edward Morris, brother Joseph Morris and sisters Emma Morris Smith, Lucille Morris Barriere, Leona Morris Brooks and Yula Mae Morris Guilbeau.
