Port Neches Police Weekly responded to the following calls from May 3 through May 9

Tuesday, May 3

  • Two people were arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 2200 block of Texas 136.
  • Theft was reported in the 800 block of South Avenue.
  • Recovered property was reported in the 1600 block of Port Neches Avenue.

Wednesday, May 4

  • Harassment was reported in the 800 block of Block Street.
  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 1900 block of Seventh Street.

Thursday, May 5

  • A person was arrested for assault in the 2100 block of 12th Street.
  • Fraud was reported in the 2300 block of Patricia.
  • Burglary of a building was reported in the 800 block of Ridgewood.
  • Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 400 block of Ave. D.

Friday, May 6

  • A person was arrested for Port Neches traffic warrants in the 6700 block of Twin City Highway.
  • Theft was reported in the 400 block of Lofton.
  • Criminal mischief was reported in the 1600 block of Welch.

Saturday, May 7

  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 1000 block of Eugene.
  • A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 800 block of Magnolia.

Sunday, May 8

  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 700 block of Lee.
  • Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 3100 block of Canterbury.
  • An assault was reported in the 300 block of Twin City Highway.
  • An assault was reported in the 2400 block of Saba Lane.

Monday, May 9

  • An information report was made in the 1000 block of Merriman.
  • Theft was reported in the 1400 block of Magnolia.
  • A person was arrested for other agency warrant(s) in the 1200 block of Montrose.
  • Burglary of a habitation was reported in the 1100 block of Washington.
