Traffic delays are expected from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday on Texas 87 at the Intracoastal Canal Bridge due to construction, a spokesperson with the Texas Department of Transportation said.

The bridge is being rehabbed and crews will be blasting and painting causing traffic to be stopped. Traffic will be stopped no more than five minutes at a time.
