Lincoln graduate Dr. Thomas visits town for reunion

Dr. Calvin Thomas, a 1971 graduate of Lincoln High School and currently an obstetrics and gynecology physician in New York, shared some of his knowledge with female alumni with an impromptu “ask the doc” session during a class reunion.
The group was celebrating their 45th reunion with a weeklong set of events in June that included a cruise to Kemah and a ball.
Cheryl Coon, a classmate in attendance, said Thomas answered questions about women’s health.
Thomas received his pre-med degree from Columbia University School of General Studies and MD at New York Medical College. He is currently vice-chairman, obstetrics and gynecology department, Woodhull Medical Center.
