Joyce Kennerson and the Texas Southern Tigers defeated the UTEP MIners on Sunday in a match up of former Port Arthur Memorial teammates.
Kennerson, a 2015 Memorial graduate, scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the Tigers’ 89-68 win.
UTEP freshman and 2016 Memorial alumna Jakeira Ford finished with nine points and three rebounds in the contest.
