Marvin Guidry

Marvin Guidry was born on March 3, 1947 to the union of the late Sterling Guidry and Elnora Davis in Port Arthur, TX. He answered God’s call on November 27, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.

Marvin attended Lincoln High School and graduated in the class of 1966. He served in the United State Armed Services during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Gulfport Shipyard for numerous years and was last employed at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.

Marvin leaves to celebrate his life, one daughter Monique Guidry-MacLelland (Charles) of Dallas, TX; two granddaughters Clifford Kala and Lillie Mae, two sisters

Erma Johnson and Reba Riley of Port Arthur, and a host of family members and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. East Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with a viewing beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
