Kendall Mark Green Sr.

Mr. Kendall Mark Green Sr., 56, of Port Arthur transitioned on Friday, March 17, 2017. He was born on March 25, 1960 to Thomas Jefferson Green Sr. and Lillie Belle Baker-Green.  He started in the refining industry at Gulf Oil in October 1979 and most recently served as head operator for Valero. His infectious personality and endless comic relief entertained all who knew him. He most enjoyed time with his family and working on his classic Chevy.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Thomas J. Green Jr. and Kevin Green.

Those left to carry on Kendall’s legacy are his beloved wife of 32 years, Patricia Sight-Green; children, Kienia Green-Murindagomo (Francis), Kendall Mark Green Jr., Saven Green, and Ardawna Green; siblings, Pamela Bell (Marvin Jr.), Keith Green, Rodney Green (Ruby), Gisele Green; grandson, Logan Murindagomo; god-child, Veronica Batro (Allen); acquired son, Dam Nguyen; special cousin, Everett Moton; special friend, Eugene Staley; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, Marsh 25 at 9 AM at Church of Jesus Christ Nationwide located at 1448 5th St., with the funeral service following at 11 AM. Pastor Donnie Bolden Sr. of Lighthouse for Jesus Ministries, Abbeville, LA, will be officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
