BEAUMONT — A 17-year-old Beaumont man is charged in the shooting death of another man that happened over the weekend.

A’bravion Javon Holts, 17, of Beaumont, was arrested on Sunday for the Saturday shooting death of Roland Darbonne, 32, of Beaumont, according to a press release from Beaumont Police Department.

Police were initially notified of shots being fired inside a residence in the 2500 block of Broadway on Saturday. Officers found the victim inside with gunshot wounds. Beaumont EMS worked on the victim and transported him to a hospital where he later died from his injuries.
