BEAUMONT — A 19-year-old woman who was 7-months pregant was shot to death during a robbery in Beaumont early Tuesday morning.

Beaumont Police responded to the 6100 block of Sienna Trails around 1:50 a.m. in reference to shots fired.

They located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the apartment complex.

She was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont where her baby was delivered. Both the mother and child were pronounced deceased, according to a press release from the Beaumont Police Department.

The victim’s mother was also inside the vehicle during the shooting.

Preliminary investigation shows that the suspects are three black males, however physical descriptions are limited at this time.

The investigation is on-going and the victim’s identities will be released later this afternoon.
