Jennie Lynette Breaux

Jennie Lynette Breaux, 52, of Nederland, died Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was born on November 22, 1964, in Groves, to Ethel Beatrice Musick and Tom Ray Smith.

Jennie was a devoted woman of Christ, who represented the love of her Father to all who were in her presence. She effortlessly displayed her unwavering faith, contagious joy, and sweet spirit as a wife, mother, and friend. Psalm 63:3 says, “for your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will forever praise You.” Jennie knew Jesus. She trusted His goodness, she clung to His Word, and she lived out his mission despite any hardship and through every blessing.

Survivors include her husband, C.J. Breaux of Nederland; daughter, Haley Breaux Evans and her husband, Nick, of Plano; son, Trevor Breaux of Nederland; granddaughter to be, Channing Evans of Plano; mother, Beatrice Smith of Nederland; sisters, Billie Allen of Brookeland and Goldie Maxine Broussard of Nederland; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Ray Smith.

A gathering of Mrs. Breaux’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at First Baptist Church, 1911 Nederland Ave, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at First Baptist Church, Nederland, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
