First responders work ‘major’ accident on Memorial

- First responders work an accident on Memorial Boulevard Friday night.
Port Arthur police and firefighters were working a major accident in the 4500 block of Memorial Friday night.
The accident appeared to be a single-car accident, though the city’s spokesperson could not provide immediate details on the incident, other than to describe it as “major.”
The accident occurred prior to 9:30 p.m. and caused major delays of northbound traffic.
It’s not clear whether anyone was injured or the extent of the injuries.
