Tom “Jerry” Lewis

Tom “Jerry” Lewis, 73, of Port Arthur, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Jerry was born April 5, 1944 in Mobil, Alabama to the late Orbie and Ada Simmons Hutto. He loved to spoil everyone. Jerry was a great cook, but most of all was famous for his crawfish and shrimp. He was employed by Genesis Energy, INC., as Chief Engineer for over 15 years.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, James Lewis, Homer Hutto, and Dave Earl Lewis; and one sister, Mary Nell Turner. Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda Coffie Lewis; daughters, Kristina Lewis and Cassie Nuggent; sister, Bonnice Clouser; and niece, Leanne Tupper.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mr. Lewis’ life will be held at 1:00 p.m, Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, with the interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
