PORT ARTHUR — The U.S. Coast Guard reported Friday they had seven helicopters and Coast Guard Flood Punt Teams, with 65 shallow-draft vessels operating in the Port Arthur area.

Coast Guard teams rescued more than 600 people in 24-hours with a total of more than 3,000.
