Thanks to our industrial donors

Over the past couple of weeks, we have reported on church groups, private citizens and even high school groups going above and beyond to help rebuild our community.
We give thanks to these folks and we expect to continue to cover their good work.
In addition to neighbors helping neighbors, however, we have also reported on generous donations from industry, too. Huntsman offered $2 million dollars toward recovery and John Huntsman, Sr. is hopeful of a match donation. Earlier this week Golden Pass donated $1.5 million and then on Thursday Flint Hills have away $18,000 in cleaning supplies.
So, while neighbors are helping neighbors, corporate neighbors are also pitching in their support.
We appreciate it.
We know money alone cannot make whole our community and we know, considering the losses in our community, some people may never recover. However, between the manpower and the volunteer hours put in by people and the generous monetary donations offered by industry, we hope our community will be able to find the road to recovery a bit less bewildering.
Finally, we urge other industry leaders to follow these examples and help where it is possible. This money should not be considered charity. No, this money is an investment in our communities and in ourselves and when we recover, we will succeed.
We do these things together.
