Joseph Da’Mal Lindley, Sr. was born on November 10, 1988 to Michelle Lindley-Ross in Port Arthur, Texas. He attended Port Arthur schools and was a 2007 graduate of Memorial High School. He was formerly employed by ISC and a member of Call to Destiny International.
“Lil-Joe”, as he was affectionately called, was a loving father to his four children, a devoted son, brother, and friend. Joe had a smile that could light up a room and was loved by many.
On Monday, September 25, 2017, Joe went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathy Fay Stewart, Johnny Stewart, and Geneva Anderson and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Laverne.
Left to cherish many wonder memories are: his mother, Michelle Lindley-Ross and father, Eddie Ross; his three daughters, Jo’Nyri, Jo’Shiyanna, and Jor’Dyn, and one son, Joseph “Deuce” Lindley II; devoted mother of his children, Precious Youman; close and loving brothers, Kevin Drake and Da’Drion Ross of Port Arthur and Christian Ross of Houston. He was also close and devoted to his aunts and uncles, Taniqua Banks, Lakeisha Thomas, Ki’Aunte Stewart, and Kory Stewart all of Port Arthur, LaDonna Tatum (Dana) and LaTasha Ada of Houston; a very special great-aunt, Detra Laverne of Port Arthur; and a host of other great-aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
