Staff reports
A dump truck carrying coke overturned on the feeder road of Highway 69 at around 11 a.m., Port Arthur Fire Chief Larry Richard said.
The accident caused some road blockages and diverted traffic, but Richard said the spill caused no danger to anyone.
Coke is a carbon-based fuel made from coal.
Richard said that since the road is a state highway, the Texas Department of Transportation managed the scene and requested the trucking company to clean up the spill.
Richard said he did not know whether the driver was injured.
