Two children who were shot Thursday evening are in stable condition, according to a spokesperson for the city of Port Arthur.

Risa Carpenter said, as of 10:30 a.m. Friday, she could not confirm whether a suspect is in custody for the shooting. The incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Joe Louis Apartments.
