Groves Police responded to the following calls from Oct. 18-24
Wednesday, Oct. 18
- Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 5500 block of West Washington.
Thursday, Oct. 19
- Theft was reported in the 5500 East Parkway.
- A 42-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant with another agency after a traffic stop in the 6300 block of Dave.
- A 22-year-old woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop at Main Avenue/Gulfway Drive.
- A 30-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant with another agency after a traffic stop in the 5500 block of 25th Street.
- A 36-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3400 block North U.S. 69, after officer initiated a traffic stop for failure to maintain a single lane of travel.
Friday, Oct. 20
- A 51-year-old man was arrested for improper left turn, driving while license invalid and failing to maintain financial responsibility in the 6400 block of Van Buren.
- An assault was reported in the 3800 block of Dunn.
- Theft of person checks was reported in the 5400 block of Grant Avenue.
Saturday, Oct. 21
- A 48-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 4200 block of Main Avenue.
Sunday, Oct. 22
- A tire was cut and reported in the 3700 block of Charles Avenue.
- A single vehicle accident was reported in the 5200 block of Hogaboom, where a wooden fence was damaged as well as multiple trees damaged.
Monday, Oct. 23
- A firearm was reported taken from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Eugenia.
- A back passenger side window was reported busted out on a vehicle in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
- Identity theft was reported in the 4200 block of Main Avenue.
- A theft was reported in the 2900 block of Magnolia.
- A counterfeit bill was reported in the 4100 block of Main Avenue.
Tuesday, Oct. 24
- Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported.
- Harassment was reported.
- A Smith & Wesson M & P Shield .40 caliber firearm was stolen from a vehicle in the 6200 block of East Drive.
