Monday
Tina Bradley will announce she will run for 172nd District Court judge at 1:30 p.m. Monday on the steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1149 Pearl St., Beaumont. She is a partner at Hobson & Bradley and has practiced law for more than 20 years.
The Commissioners’ Court of Jefferson County will meet in regular session at 1:30 p.m. Monday on the fourth floor of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1149 Pearl St., Beaumont. Following the meeting, cake will be served.
The Port Neches-Groves Independent School District board meeting will be at 7 p.m. at West Groves Education Center, 5840 W. Jefferson, Groves.
Tuesday
Nederland Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau will host its monthly networking coffee at Rao’s Bakery, 3504 Highway 365,30 at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Capt. William Sanders Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 2 p.m. at the Hebert Public Library, 2025 Merriman St., Port Neches. Two books will be donated and carols sung.
Saturday
Got an ugly sweater? All of us do.
Neches Brewing Company, 1108 Port Neches Ave., will host an Ugly Sweater Party at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Central Mall, 3100 Highway 365, will host licensed Star Wars characters from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday. Moviegoers to Star Wars: The Last Jedi can take photos with Chewbacca, Darth Vader, two storm Troopers, Boba Fett and a Jawa.
