Henrietta J. Solis, 85, of Groves died, Sunday January 28, 2018 in Beaumont, TX. A native of Port Arthur and life ling resident of Groves, Mrs. Solis was a 1951 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Port Arthur Business College. She was formerly employed at Texas US Rubber. Mrs. Solis was a member of ST. Peter’s/Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a member of the ACTS Society.

Mrs. Solis is survived by her husband, Jim Solis of Groves; her sons, Steve (Lisa) Solis of Lake Jackson and James Solis of Owasso, OK; her daughters, Lisa (Jackie) Brown and Laura Solis both of Groves; her brothers, Richard Jimenez of Houston, Edward Jimenez of Port Arthur and Robert “RJ” Jimenez of Groves and her sisters, Isabel Jimenez of Groves, Gloria Rodriguez of Groves and Elvira Jimenez of Baytown. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kristen (John) Hoffpauir, Lindsay (Tyler) Briggs, Alyssa Solis, Anthony (Sydney) Solis, Harrison Shipman and Sarina Shipman and two great grandchildren, Lyla Briggs and Mia Hoffpauir.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM concluding with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 at Grammier – Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic in Groves. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Gardens in Port Neches.
