Betty Sue Amy, 85, of Groves, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Betty was born on June 29, 1932, in Ashland, Kentucky, to Agnes Lucille Dodson Ratliff and James Milton Ratliff.

Survivors include her sons, Gary W. Amy and his wife, Laurel, of Port Arthur; Keith Amy of Groves; and Brian Amy and his wife, Brenda, of Fannett; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Jackie Bartlett of Brunswick, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adam Wayne Amy; and brothers, James Paul Ratliff and Ronnie Ratliff.

A gathering of Mrs. Amy’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
