Dennis Ray Manning, 51, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Mid Jefferson Extended Care in Nederland.

Dennis was born September 12, 1966 in Port Arthur, Texas to William Rodolph Manning and Mary Cox Manning. He was a lifelong resident of Groves and worked as a Tankerman for Atlas Marine Service.

Dennis proudly served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Dale Manning; step-mother, Priscilla Manning; and father, William R. Manning.

Survivors include his mother, Mary E. Sutton of Monaca, PA; son, Brock Ray Manning of Lumberton, TX; brother, John R. Cox of Madisonville, LA; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial visitation for family and friends will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
