It’s the third time LU has earned at least a share of the Southland crown, and the first since 2014. The student-athletes along with head coach Robin Harmony and her staff will be on hand to show off the championship trophy and meet their fans. The event will be highlighted by a ceremonial net cutting.

The event is free and open to the public. Fans are encouraged to attend the event and show their support for the Cardinals.

“We would like to see everybody come out and join us in this celebration,” LU coach Robin Harmony said. “We’ve had great support at home all season. The fans are a big reason we have won 28 straight home games. They are a part of this championship.”

LU, which earned an automatic berth into the tournament semifinals, opens tourney play at 1 p.m. March 10. The title game is scheduled for noon March 11. The tournament will be played at the Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy.
