The Texas Department of Public Safety will close the eastbound traffic lanes on SH 73, near Wilber Road, to reconstruct a fatal crash that occurred Friday.
DPS said all eastbound traffic lanes will be closed for about three hours with crash reconstruction beginning at 1 p.m.
Motorists are urged to find an alternate travel route, DPS said. Expect delays.
Joshua Caleb Crunk, of Dayton, Texas, was killed in a wreck around 6 a.m. Friday.
His vehicle was in collision with a truck tractor-trailer driven by Jesus Chapa, 75, of Alvin.
