Troopers: Motorcyclist hurt in one-vehicle wreck

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) responded to a one-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Turner Road in Orange County.

Preliminary reports indicate that a 2009 Honda motorcycle was traveling southbound on Turner Road.  For an unknown reason, the driver lost control and fell off the motorcycle.  The driver was not wearing a helmet, Troopers said.

Dustin Breaux, 32, of Orange, the driver,  was flown to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.This crash remains under investigation as Troopers work to determine the exact factors that contributed to this crash, an issued statement said.
