Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt will personally pay for the funerals of each person who was killed in Friday’s shooting at Santa Fe High School, Houston station KRIV-TV reported.

Ten students and teachers and 10 others were injured in the ambush. A suspect, 17, and another person of interest were placed in custody.

Santa Fe’s baseball players voted hours after Friday’s shooting to continue its season in the 5A Region III quarterfinal round. Kingwood Park beat Santa Fe 7-0 in a packed-house Game 2 of a best-of-three series at Deer Park to advance to the next round, where the Panthers will play either Magnolia or Georgetown.
