Early Sunday crash claims Port Arthur man’s life

A Port Arthur man was killed early Sunday when his disabled vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 10 in Vidor.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Paul Franco, 25, was pronounced dead at Christus-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Franco’s vehicle, a 2002 Honda, was disabled in the middle and outside lanes of I-10 around 2:30 a.m. when his vehicle was struck by an eastbound truck, DPS said in an issued statement. DPS said it Franco’s car had been disabled in a previous wreck.
The driver of the truck was identified as Danny Williams, 57, of Phoenix, Arizona.
Williams was not injured.
