Lottie Mae Reado passed at age 95 peaceably in her home on June 11th, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, born to the late Joseph Parker Sr. and Elnora Lavallais Parker.  She was a devoted wife of 62 years to the late Arthur Reado, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended Abraham Lincoln School. She is the last of her siblings: William Parker, Annie Johnson, Selma Hardage, Geneva Parker, Beulah Carrier, Joseph Parker Jr, Elnora Comeaux, and her twin sister, Jessie Mae Beckett.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifetime member of The Church of The Living God.  She was a member of the mission auxiliary where she worked giving and serving the needs of others.  She was faithful in singing in the Mission Choir until her health failed.

Lottie was a member of the Association of State Democratic Chair, Cub Scout den mother for multiple years and worked with Phyllis Wheatley PTA long after her children completed elementary school. She was a proud housewife with equal pride in all ten kids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sons: Arthur Philmore Reado, Marvin James Reado and Patrick Joseph Reado.

She is survived by her children, Russell Reado, Beulah(James) Wilson of Webster, TX,  Kenneth Reado of Bmt. TX, Cheryl (Jimmie) Baldwin of Friendswood, TX, Lloyd  (Farrell) Johnson,  Lowra (Rogers) Harrison and Theo Paul Reado of Houston, TX.

Lottie is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Nathaniel (Melissa) Wilson of Spring TX, Victor Wilson, Angela (Victor) Johnson, Lois Reado of Houston, Kenneth Reado Jr, Charissa Reado of Bmt., Jamie and Chelsia Baldwin of Friendswood, Dorian and Dominique Johnson, Alex and Tatianna Reado of Houston, TX; four great grandchildren: Nathaniel Wilson of Humble Tx, Jalissa Wilson of Pasadena Tx. Victor Johnson Jr and Jasmine Johnson.

A special thank you to all her caregivers but specifically to Dena Stewart, who was with her for 4 years and lovingly cared for her in her final years. Special thanks to Hearts of Texas Hospice and Raoul Lopez for what you do best; caring for those who cannot do for themselves.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with visitation from 9 am until service time 11 am, under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
